The StairAssist Walker device is designed to support a range of users – leg fractures, amputees, and stroke patients seeking to be discharged from the hospital sooner, to aging adults with impaired stair mobility getting out of their homes and returning to their MD appointments.


Height-Adjustable Handlebars
Accommodates users of varying heights by allowing the handlebars to be easily adjusted for optimal posture and comfort.

Knee Conversion Mechanism (KCM)
Converts the device between walker and stair-climbing modes for use on most stairs.

Collapsibility Trigger
Fold and Go Button. Press the button to unlock the seat, flip it up, and fold the walker flat for easy storage and transport.

Stair Mode Safety Lock (SMSL)
Prevents unintended movement on stairs by securely locking the walker in place when stair mode is activated.
